Citizens Advice - service closure

Dear All,

I apologise for the general email but I need to get this information out as
quickly as possible. I will also be in contact with our funders separately
to talk about specific aspects of our service.

Today, as a consequence of the Coronavirus, we have taken the very difficult
decision to close all our face-to-face advice services with immediate
effect. Instead we will be delivering a telephone, email, webchat (Help to
Claim) and skype advice service which will start from tomorrow, Thursday
18th March 2020. I have attached a poster with all our contact details and
I would be grateful if you could share this with your networks and if
possible to print it out and place it in prominent places so that people in
your area will know how to contact us.

There may be a slight disruption as we transition into a remote service but
please be assured we are doing all we can to ensure we to deliver a
comprehensive advice service for the residents of North Somerset, albeit
remotely.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support at
this difficult time.

With all good wishes,

Fiona

Dear Customer,

We are sorry to have to inform you that Midnight Train to Georgia at the Redgrave Theatre on Saturday 21st March 2020 has been postponed and rescheduled for Saturday 12th September 2020. We apologise for the short notice.

In common with other charities and arts institutions, the Redgrave Theatre finds itself in a vulnerable position. Your tickets will be automatically transferred to the new date, and we ask customers to consider crediting their account should they not be able to attend the rescheduled show.

Please contact the box office on 0117 3157 800 if you would like to receive a refund or credit on your account. We will be offering credit or a full refund until 18th April.

Thank you,

Redgrave Theatre Management

A message from British Gas:

Hello,

Here to keep you safe

The coronavirus outbreak impacts us all and we wanted to let you know what we’re doing to support our customers across the UK.
Over the next few weeks we’ll be working hard to prioritise emergencies and put the needs of our most vulnerable customers first – no matter what.
<<Read our FAQs>> button
Like all businesses, we’re going to have to change the way we work for a while to protect the health and wellbeing of everyone – which may include cancelling non-essential engineer appointments.
Visit our Covid-19 FAQs page for the latest information from us – we’ll be updating it regularly and we’ll cover topics like:
- Engineer availability for all appointments in your area
- How we’re protecting our customers and engineers
- How to top-up your prepay meters when you’re in self-isolation
- How to contact us during this difficult time

Remember, you can do things like submit meter readings, pay bills, top up your smart meter and live chat with us online or on the app <<Access your account>>
Finally, we hope you don’t mind us asking you not to call us unless it’s an emergency – it’ll help us answer the phone faster to the customers who really need us right now.

Thanks for understanding,

Your British Gas team
