I was born in Leipzig, East Germany, and came to Britain in 1994.
For many years, I used to work for the University of Bristol but am
now a self-employed translator and interpreter. My wife and I moved
to Dundry (Crabtree Close) in 2007. We immediately liked the
friendly and welcoming atmosphere of this community so I decided to
get involved. I joined the Parish Plan Committee in 2008 and the
Parish Council in spring 2009. I was elected Chair of the Parish
Council in May 2010. |
